𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 Veg Chowmein
Preparation time 5-10 minutes
Cooking time 10-15 minutes
Serve 2
Ingredients
For Boiling Noodles
Water as required
Salt to taste
MasterChow Whole Wheat Noodles
1 tsp Oil
1 tsp Oil (after boiling)
For Chowmein
1 tbsp Oil
½ medium Cabbage (shredded)
1 large Carrot (peeled & julienned)
1 large Capsicum (julienned)
1 large Onion (sliced)
4-5 tbsp MasterChow Chowmein sauce
Boiled Noodles
2-3 tbsp Spring onion (roughly chopped)
For Garnish
Spring onion (diagonally cut)
MasterChow Chilli oil
Process
For Boiling Noodles
● In a saucepot, add water as required, salt to taste, give it a good mix and give it a boil until its roaring boil.
● Add MasterChow Whole Wheat Noodles, oil and boil it for 6-7 minutes or until 80% cooked.
● Strain the noodles, add oil and toss it very gently.
● Leave it aside for further use.
For Chowmein
● In a wok, add oil, once it’s hot, add cabbage, carrot, capsicum, onion and saute it for 2-3 minutes on high flames.
● Add MasterChow Chowmein sauce, boiled noodles and toss it on high flames for a minute.
● Finish it with spring onion and give it a good mix.
● Transfer it into the serving bowl, garnish it with spring onion and drizzle some MasterChow Chilli oil.
● Serve hot.
