Maharashtra ke ek chote se gaon ki pathrili pagdandi. Raat ke saade gyarah baje. Aur shamshan ke us mod par kuch aisa, jise dekhne ki himmat aaj tak kisi ne dobara nahi ki.
Dutta Sutar us raat lautte waqt bas ek galti kar baitha – usne peeche mud kar dekh liya. Aur usne dekha ek aisi aakriti, jo ped se ulti latki thi, jiska dhad uski taraf tha lekin muh peeth ki taraf… Yeh ‘Paathpheri’ thi. Aur us raat ke baad Dutta ki peeth par jo kaala panja chhap gaya, woh use andar hi andar khaane laga.
Ise ant tak zaroor suniye – kyunki is kahani ka sabse bada niyam yahi hai: peeche mud kar mat dekhna, chahe koi tumhari maa ki aawaz mein hi kyun na pukare.
CREATIVE PROCESS
Is episode ki har aawaz ghar ke setup mein khud tayaar ki gayi hai. Voiceover maine raat ke sannate mein record kiya taaki us thand, us ghutan aur us darr ko mehsoos kiya ja sake jo yeh kahani maangti hai. Iske baad Filmora mein layer-by-layer custom sound design kiya – sookhe patto ki char-char, peeche aate bhaari kadmo ki aahat, chudail ki woh amaanviya hansi, aur chhat par ghisatne ki aawaz – har effect alag se edit, pitch aur mix kiya gaya taaki aapko lage ki aap us pagdandi par khud chal rahe hain. Headphones lagakar suniye, tabhi asli farak pata chalega.
