केरलम के वायनाड में मंगलवार दोपहर तेज बारिश के चलते लैंडस्लाइड हुआ। हादसे में 2 की मौत हो गई, 8 लोग घायल हुए हैं। कई लोगों के फंसे होने की सूचना है। हादसा कल्लाडी स्थित मीनाक्षी ब्रिज के पास हुआ। यहां मलप्पुरम-वायनाड टनल प्रोजेक्ट के कंस्ट्रक्शन का काम चल रहा है। टनल से मिट्टी निकालकर बाहर जमा की गई थी। बारिश के चलते मिट्टी खिसक गई, जिससे पेड़ उखड़ गए और बैरिकेड भी बह गए।
A landslide occurred in Wayanad, Kerala, on Tuesday afternoon due to heavy rainfall. Two people died and eight others were injured in the incident, and several people are reported to be trapped. The incident took place near the Meenakshi Bridge in Kalladi, where construction work for the Malappuram-Wayanad tunnel project is underway. Soil excavated from the tunnel had been piled up at the site; the rain caused the soil to shift, uprooting trees and washing away barricades.
