झारखंड के रांची में JPSC-JSSC में धांधली के खिलाफ हजारों की संख्या में छात्र विधानसभा के करीब पहुंच गए हैं। वहीं, धरना शुरू कर दिया, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने लाठीचार्ज किया है। छात्रों की ओर से पानी की बोतल और चप्पलें फेंकी गई हैं। इधर, CID ने JPSC के पूर्व अध्यक्ष एल ख्यांगते को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। 21 जुलाई को JPSC ऑफिस में रेड के बाद उन्होंने इस्तीफा दे दिया था। इसके बाद से CID उनसे लगातार पूछताछ कर रही थी। पुलिस प्रदर्शनकारियों को कंटीले तार की बैरिकेडिंग और वाटर कैनन से रोकने की कोशिश की तो छात्र बैरिकेडिंग पर चढ़कर डांस करते नजर आए।
In Ranchi, Jharkhand, thousands of students have gathered near the Legislative Assembly to protest against alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC recruitments. A sit-in protest was initiated, following which the police resorted to a lathi-charge; in response, students hurled water bottles and slippers. Meanwhile, the CID has arrested L. Khyangte, the former chairman of the JPSC. He had resigned following a raid on the JPSC office on July 21, and the CID had been questioning him continuously since then. When the police attempted to stop the protesters using barbed-wire barricades and water cannons, students were seen climbing onto the barricades and dancing.
