🥔🫛 Beans Aloo Ki Sabzi | Step-by-Step Recipe
🥗 Ingredients
250 g fresh beans (finely chopped)
1 large onion (chopped)
1 medium potato (thinly sliced or chopped)
1 small tomato (chopped)
2-3 green chillies (chopped)
3 tbsp oil
🧂 Spices
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric (Haldi)
1 tsp coriander powder (Dhaniya Powder)
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
👩🍳 Step 1 – Prepare the Vegetables
Sabse pehle fresh beans ko achhi tarah wash karke finely chop kar lijiye. Saath hi ek bada onion, ek medium aloo aur ek chhota tomato bhi chop karke ready kar lijiye.
🍳 Step 2 – Sauté the Onion
Ab ek pan mein 3 tablespoon oil garam kijiye. Oil garam ho jaaye to chopped onion aur green chilli daal dijiye. Onion ko halka golden hone tak bhuniye.
🌶️ Step 3 – Add the Spices
Ab ismein salt, haldi, dhaniya powder, red chilli powder aur garam masala daal kar sab kuch achhe se mix kijiye. Masalon ko lagbhag 2 minute tak bhun lijiye, taaki unka raw flavour nikal jaaye.
🫛🥔 Step 4 – Add Beans & Potato
Ab chopped beans aur aloo pan mein daal dijiye. Sab kuch masalon ke saath achhi tarah mix kar lijiye.
Pan ko dhak dijiye aur medium flame par cook hone dijiye.
Beech-beech mein lid kholkar sabzi ko halka sa chala dijiye aur phir dobara cover kar dijiye. Is process ko repeat kijiye jab tak aloo aadhe se zyada soft na ho jaaye.
🍅 Step 5 – Add the Tomato
Jab aloo lagbhag soft ho jaaye, tab chopped tomato daal dijiye aur sabzi ko halka sa mix kar lijiye.
Ab sirf 3–4 minute ke liye pan ko dhak kar medium flame par cook kijiye. Isse tomato halka sa soft ho jayega, lekin uska fresh colour aur texture bhi bana rahega. Zyada der tak cook na karein, warna tomato ka colour dull ho sakta hai.
