Drumsticks Curry with Green Chillies | Harvi Mirsang ghalun Mhaska Sangacho Ros | Goan Recipes
Ingredients:
} 3-4 Drumsticks
} 1 Cup Freshly Grated Coconut
} 1 tblspn Coriander Seeds
} 1/2 tspn Turmeric Powder
} Marble size Tamrind
} 4 Pepper Corns
} 4 Green Chillies (Less spicy ones)
} 1 tspn Jaggery
} Salt
} Handful of Coriander
} 1/2 tspn Mustard seeds
} 1/4 tspn Hing
} A spring of Curry Leaves
} 1 tblspn Oil
Method:
} Peel & cut drumsticks
} Grind Coconut, coriander seeds, 2 less spicy green chillies, pepper corns, tamarind with water into a smooth paste
} To a tblspn of Oil, add mustard seeds, hing, currry leaves, drumsticks & saute for 1-2 minutes. Add water, salt, slit green chillies, cover & let the drumsticks cook.
} Add ground masala paste, Jaggery, required water, mix well & let it come to a nice a boil. Garnish with fresh coriander at last & enjoy with hot rice.
