Detailed Recipe:
Ingredients:
Breadfruit – 1 large
Rice – 1 cup
Red chillies – 15 to 20
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
Hing – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
— Soak rice and chillies for 30mins.
— In a mixer jar, add rice and chillies and make a coarse powder without adding any water.
— Next add corainder seeds and again grind coarse.
— Once done, add salt, hing and little water and grind into a fine paste.
— Adding hing is missed in this video.
— Apply this masala to breadfruit slices and marinate for min 10mins.
— In a kadai, heat oil and start frying the breadfruit.
Jeev Kadgi podi or Breadfruit fritters is now ready to be served. Enjoy it along with hot rice and dal.
