Pathrodo (Chembilappam) is a traditional GSB special dish made using colocasia leaves. 🌿✨ It is a delicious and healthy recipe enjoyed by many families, especially during the monsoon season.
Ingredients: 🔸 1½ kg Pachari (raw rice)
🔸 3 bunches of colocasia leaves (Chembila)
🔸 50–60 Kashmiri chillies
🔸 Turmeric powder (as required)
🔸 Salt (as required)
🔸 Asafoetida/Kayam (as required)
The rice batter is prepared by grinding the ingredients together. The batter is then evenly spread on the colocasia leaves as shown in the video. The leaves are rolled, steamed well, and cut into pieces.
Pathrodo, also known as Chembilappam in Malayalam, tastes best when served with a little coconut oil. 😋🌿
