IIT Madras Alumnus Srinivas Narayanan Leaves OpenAI | Key ChatGPT Leader Exits
Srinivas Narayanan, an IIT Madras alumnus who played a major role in scaling ChatGPT and OpenAI’s developer platform, has left OpenAI after more than three years at the company. Narayanan announced his departure on X and LinkedIn, describing his time at OpenAI as three incredible years. He said he is looking forward to spending some much-needed time with his aging parents in India before deciding what comes next. His exit comes as OpenAI continues to expand rapidly across consumer and enterprise AI products.
