Tofu Recipe

Red tofu gochujang fried
Ingredients – Gochujang paste, Ketchup, rice vinegar, and brown sugar, Soy sauce, Mirin, Garlic, Sesame oil, Scallions and sesame seeds.
Direction
Press a block of firm or extra-firm tofu. This will remove the excess water and improve the texture of the tofu.Cut the pressed tofu into roughly 1″ cubes, or you can tear it into irregular pieces.Add the tofu bites to a large bowl and toss with oil and seasoning.Bake the tofu in a preheated 425°F oven on a lined baking sheet, till it’s deliciously crispy and golden brown. Give it a flip about 15 minutes into the cook time so it crisps up evenly.mix well with Prepared the Spicy Gochujang Tofu sauces & Enjoy.

Chili Garlic Silken Tofu
Ingredient – Voila silken tofu, Scallions and garlic, Brown sugar, Soy sauce, Rice vinegar, Chili crisp, Toasted sesame seeds & sesame oil.
Direction –
Drain the tofu: Soft silken tofu has a high-water content and will start to shed extra water as soon as it’s removed from the package.Cook the sauce: just whisk all the ingredients together.Plate and enjoy! You can enjoy this as cold silken tofu or heat it up by microwaving it for 1-2 minutes or steaming it for 5 minutes. Simply pour the sauce over the hot (or cold) tofu, top with some reserved spring onion, and dig in! Personally I love to serve this with steamed rice for a super simple yet satisfying meal, any time of day.

Silken Tofu Scramble
Ingredient – Voila silken tofu, Nutritional yeast, onion and garlic powder, Turmeric, Salt and black pepper, Black Namak, and Add-ins. Sautéed veggies, chopped ham/bacon, or your favorite shredded cheese.
Direction –
Break the tofu into large chunks. Start by carefully removing the tofu from the carton, keeping it as intact as possible. It can help to run a knife around the edge, so it releases easily. You can plop it directly into your lightly oiled nonstick skillet.Cook off the extra water: Crank the heat to medium-high and the tofu will begin to steam. You’ll see the pieces of tofu rapidly shedding water.Continue to brown and scramble the tofu. After the first 3-5 minutes of cooking, you can carefully take a peek at the underside of one of your tofu chunks. If it appears to have browned slightly, go ahead and give all the pieces a gentle flip. Add in seasonings and add-ins. When the tofu appears to be almost evenly browned, add in your spices and gently stir to coat.
