Body Construction
Nigella Stainless Steel Pressure Cookers body and lid are made from food-grade, 18/8, non-magnetic, superior stainless steel (AISI Grade 304). 304 Stainless Steel contains 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel for greater anti-corrosion resistance. It is hence one of the best quality stainless steel grades used for making cooking utensils.
Heavy Duty Tri-ply body
The Tri-ply body of Nigella Pressure Cooker is its specialty. Sandwiched between two sheets of stainless steel is a thick core of aluminium. Aluminium is 9 times better conductor of heat than steel. This ensures heat spreads quickly and evenly thus avoiding hotspots and burning or sticking of food. The base is made of AISI Grade 430 magnetic stainless steel which is induction-friendly, and inside is made of anti-corrosion 304 steel.

The handles are secured safely using two screws instead of a single screw, making it more durable.
Sturdy cool-touch Handles
Nigella Pressure Cooker comes with cool-touch handles which are easy and comfortable to hold while cooking. The metal screw and rivets used to fasten the handles are safely recessed to eliminate the chances of your hand coming into contact with the hot metal while cooking. Handles provide a firm grip during usage.
Weight Valve
It is the 1st level of safety, which releases pressure above 1 kg/cm2 which makes the cooking safe and saves time for you.
Controlled Gasket Release System
It is the 2nd level of safety. In case there is any blockage inside the vent tube, the gasket release system will release the steam on the cook-top. Thus making it safe for usage.
Metallic Safety Plug
It is the 3rd level of safety. It is fitted on the top of the lid which releases excess pressure when the pressure goes beyond the safety level.
Safe for all Cooking Surfaces
It can be used on all cooking surfaces – gas stove, induction cooktop and oven. When using it on ceramic or glass-topped cooking surface, avoid dragging the cookware to protect the cooking surface. It is oven, dishwasher, grill & freezer safe.
