The corridor is empty.
Or at least… it looks empty.
As the camera slowly moves through the dimly lit school hallway, a flickering tube light reveals a chilling message on the notice board:
“अटेंडेंस पूरी नहीं हुई”
(The attendance is not complete.)
Moments later, footsteps echo from the staircase.
But no one is there.
Fog crawls across the steps.
Faint silhouettes of children appear at the top… watching… waiting…
And then they vanish.
Inside the dusty staff room, under a trembling lamp, the truth lies open on an old attendance register.
One name stands out:
“रमेश कुमार – ABSENT”
But if he was absent…
