Our unfermented green tea started about 30 years ago after long research and experiments to avoid hints of grass and sea weed. Very rich in antioxidants, has strong revitalizing properties therefore making it an ideal afternoon tea. Best if consumed on a regular basis, two cups every day.
Colour, Aroma, Taste: The emerald green of the dry leaf is a perfect match to the surrounding forest and tea gardens of Makaibari with flecks of white tips throughout. In the cup, the leaf imparts an almost forest green with golden undertones. It has an appealing natural smell of dried hue which also transpired in the flavour like asparagus. It is fresh and lively on the palate leaving your taste buds invigorated.
Steep the Perfect Cup of of Darjeeling Silver Green Tea: Place tea leaves in a cup, tea infuser or strainer and pour hot water over the leaves. Steep for 2-3 minutes. Best enjoyed plain without adding milk or sugar.
