ABOUT GOPALDHARA: Located in the hills of Darjeeling, Gopaldhara tea estate specializes in the production of authentic Darjeeling teas. Most of our teas are grown at high elevations of around 5500 to 7000 feet, giving them a unique and distinct flavor.
TEA PROFILE: When dry, the leaves appear greenish and have a few tips.
PROFILE: Our Mellow Gold tea is famous for its lively bite and abundance of fresh flavour. The finer notes in spring teas from Darjeeling mostly range from citrus to honey like sweetness. The texture is mostly herbaceous and vegetal. It brews into a yellow colored fully transparent liquor with a clean and delicate crispness to it. The finish is clean and the taste is mellow, something that is very unique to the hills of Darjeeling.
TEA EXPERIENCE: Our legacy of 75 years in the tea business ensures that the teas delivered to you are the finest, fresh and delicately plucked by hand. We believe in direct trade where we deliver straight from our garden to your doorstep with no middlemen involved.
ENVIRONMENT: Our collaboration with Rainforest Alliance and Ethical Tea Partnership reinforces our commitment to follow ethical practices when it comes to protecting the natural environment and supporting the livelihood of the local community.
CERTIFIED & AWARDED: We are also certified by FSSAI and ISO 2200. We have been awarded for our teas at the Australian International Tea Export 2018 and Prix Epicure De L’epicerie Fine.
