नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (NTA) ने 3 मई 2026 को आयोजित NEET UG परीक्षा को पेपर लीक विवाद के कारण रद्द कर दिया है। एजेंसी ने कहा है कि परीक्षा दोबारा कराई जाएगी और नई तारीख जल्द घोषित की जाएगी। NTA ने बताया कि 8 मई को मामले को केंद्रीय एजेंसियों को स्वतंत्र जांच के लिए भेजा गया था। इसके बाद मिले इनपुट और रिपोर्ट की समीक्षा के बाद परीक्षा रद्द करने का फैसला लिया गया। अब इस मामले की जांच CBI करेगी। राजस्थान पुलिस की SOG ने अब तक 45 से ज्यादा लोगों को हिरासत में लिया है। शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि कथित गेस पेपर में शामिल 720 में से करीब 600 सवाल असली परीक्षा से हूबहू मेल खाते थे। इससे लाखों छात्रों और अभिभावकों की चिंता बढ़ गई है।
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has cancelled the NEET UG examination held on May 3, 2026, due to a paper leak controversy. The agency has stated that the examination will be reconducted, and a new date will be announced shortly. The NTA informed that on May 8, the matter was referred to central agencies for an independent investigation. Subsequently, the decision to cancel the examination was taken following a review of the inputs and reports received. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will now investigate this matter. The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police has so far detained more than 45 individuals. Preliminary investigations have revealed that out of the 720 questions contained in the alleged “guess paper,” approximately 600 matched verbatim with those in the actual examination. This has heightened the anxiety of millions of students and parents.
