भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने देश के कई हिस्सों में भारी बारिश को लेकर अलर्ट जारी किया है. IMD के मुताबिक, दक्षिण-पूर्वी झारखंड और आसपास के इलाकों में कम दबाव का क्षेत्र बनने के कारण गंगीय पश्चिम बंगाल, उत्तरी ओडिशा और झारखंड में कुछ इलाकों में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश होने की संभावना है. अगले 48 घंटों में कुछ जगहों पर तेज बारिश हो सकती है.पश्चिमी हिमालयी क्षेत्र और उत्तर प्रदेश में भी कुछ जगहों पर भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश का अलर्ट है. बिहार में 19 अगस्त तक कहीं-कहीं आंधी-तूफान और बिजली गिरने की संभावना है.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heavy rainfall in several parts of the country. According to the IMD, the formation of a low-pressure area over southeastern Jharkhand and adjoining regions is likely to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall to parts of Gangetic West Bengal, northern Odisha, and Jharkhand. Intense rainfall is expected in some areas over the next 48 hours. Alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall have also been issued for parts of the Western Himalayan region and Uttar Pradesh. In Bihar, thunderstorms and lightning strikes are likely in isolated areas until August 19.
