अयोध्या में राम मंदिर में चढ़ावा चोरी मामले में आज कई घटनाक्रम तेजी से आगे बढ़े. सबसे अहम बात तो ये कि चंपत राय से पुलिस ने पूछताछ की उनका बयान दर्ज हुआ. अयोध्या पुलिस का भी एक्शन हुआ है. अयोध्या पुलिस ने एसबीआई जाकर पूछताछ की और इसके साथ ही तीन बैंकों को पुलिस ने नोटिस भी जारी किया है और कुछ सवालों के जवाब मांगे हैं. उधर अयोध्या के वकीलों ने तय किया है कि वो चढ़ावा चोरी के आरोपियों का मुकदमा नहीं लड़ेंगे और ना ही बाहर के वकील को ही केस लड़ने देंगे. अयोध्या से उठी राम धन की चोरी की चिनगारी ने यूपी की सियासत कुछ ऐसी सुलगाई है कि एक तरफ सत्ता के लिए धर्म के सौदे के सवाल उठ रहे हैं तो दूसरी तरफ धर्म के लिए सत्ता की चुनौती दी जा रही है. सीएम योगी ने एक दिन पहले ही अखिलेश यादव को मथुरा के श्रीकृष्ण जन्मभूमि आंदोलन पर बोलने की चुनौती दी है.

The spark of controversy ignited by the theft of Ram Temple offerings has inflamed UP politics to such an extent that questions are being raised about trading religion for power, while simultaneously, a challenge is being issued to wield power in the name of religion. Just a day earlier, CM Yogi challenged Akhilesh Yadav to speak on the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi movement in Mathura.
