Taushe Idli, also known as Cucumber Idli, is a soft, moist, and mildly sweet traditional GSB breakfast recipe 🥒
In this video, I’ve made two delicious versions of Taushe Idli (Cucumber Idli) using the same base batter. One version is sweet, mildly flavored with jaggery and coconut, making it soft, fragrant, and perfect for kids or as a light breakfast. The other version is spicy, tempered with green chilies and spices for those who love bold, savory flavors. This way, you can enjoy two different tastes from one simple cucumber idli batter, without any fermentation.
This idli does not require fermentation and is perfect for quick mornings.
