He allegedly used his influence in religious and spiritual circles to exploit women, gaining their trust through astrology and mysticism. Kharat, originally from Sinnar, had been living in Nashik and posing as a retired Merchant Navy captain.The Fake Captain’s Modus OperandiKharat, also known as ‘Captain,’ would target women, gaining their confidence by claiming to have spiritual powers and connections with influential politicians.
