कुछ सेकंड के अंधेरे में एक औरत के दर्दभरे रोने की आवाज़ गूंजी —
“ये शादी नहीं हो सकती…”
जब लोगों ने दुल्हन के पीछे देखा, तो सफेद साड़ी में एक जली हुई दुल्हन का साया खड़ा था। उसका चेहरा आग से झुलसा हुआ… आंखें खाली… और मुस्कान डरावनी।
लाइट आते ही वो साया गायब हो गया।
अगले दिन गांव वालों को याद आया — 20 साल पहले उसी मंडप में एक दुल्हन की रहस्यमयी आग में मौत हुई थी… और उसकी शादी अधूरी रह गई थी।
तब से उस गांव में आधी रात के बाद कोई शादी नहीं करता…
क्योंकि लोग कहते हैं — वो अधूरी दुल्हन आज भी अपनी शादी रुकवाने आती है…
