His arrival in Dhaka turned into a massive show of strength, with nearly one lakh supporters attending his rally. Rahman presented his vision for Bangladesh and, recalling Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous words “I have a dream,” said, “I have a plan.” With Sheikh Hasina of the Awami League absent and Khaleda Zia unwell, Bangladesh politics is witnessing a major generational shift amid rising violence. Reports of attacks on Hindus have raised serious concerns, with India closely monitoring the safety of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Bangladesh faces mounting political turmoil as a home ministry official resigned amid unrest over Sharif Osman Hadi’s killing. Violence claimed another life, while Muhammad Yunus faces pressure to reshuffle his interim government.
Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary – Tarique Rahman returns – बांग्लादेश से आज की सबसे बड़ी खबर ये है कि- बांग्लादेश की पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री Khaleda Zia के सबसे बड़े बेटे और उनके राजनीतिक उत्तराधिकारी Tarique Rahman ढाका पहुंच गए हैं। वो Bangladesh Nationalist Party यानी BNP के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष भी हैं। 17 वर्षों के निर्वासन के बाद 60 वर्ष के Tarique Rahman अपनी पत्नी और बेटी के साथ London से बांग्लादेश वापस लौटे हैं। 12 फरवरी को बांग्लादेश में चुनाव होंगे, जिसमें Tarique Rahman को प्रधानमंत्री पद का बड़ा दावेदार बताया जा रहा है। इससे पहले वर्ष 2008 में Tarique Rahman गिरफ्तारी से बचने के लिए London भाग गए थे, तब शेख हसीना सरकार में उनके खिलाफ भ्रष्टाचार सहित 84 मामले चल रहे थे। London से जब Tarique Rahman ढाका आ रहे थे, तब उनकी Flight को 45 हजार से ज्यादा लोग एक Website पर Real Time में Track कर रहे थे। आज ढाका पहुंचते ही सबसे पहले उन्होंने एक रैली को संबोधित किया। जिसमें हजारों लोग मौजूद रहे। यानी Tarique Rahman की बांग्लादेश वापसी के पहले ही दिन उनकी पार्टी BNP ने अपनी ताकत लोगों को दिखा दी।
