ग्रेटर नोएडा के दादरी थाना क्षेत्र के सिरसा गांव में दहेज की मांग को लेकर विवाहिता की हत्या का सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया है. आरोप है कि ससुराल पक्ष के लोगों ने विवाहिता को बुरी तरह पीटा और फिर उस पर ज्वलनशील पदार्थ डालकर आग लगा दी. गंभीर रूप से झुलसी महिला को अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई.घटना के बाद मृतका की बहन और परिजनों ने ससुराल पक्ष पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं. पीड़ित परिवार का कहना है कि मृतका निक्की की शादी दिसंबर 2016 में सिरसा गांव निवासी विपिन से हुई थी.
शादी में स्कॉर्पियो कार समेत पर्याप्त दहेज दिया गया था. इसके बावजूद शादी के बाद से ही पति विपिन, जेठ रोहित, सास दया और ससुर सतवीर लगातार 35 लाख रुपये अतिरिक्त दहेज की मांग कर रहे थे. पीड़ित परिवार ने उनकी मांग पूरी करने के लिए एक और कार भी दी, लेकिन मारपीट और प्रताड़ना का सिलसिला जारी रहा.परिजनों का आरोप है कि कई बार पंचायत कर समझौता करने की कोशिश की गई, लेकिन आरोपी बाज नहीं आए. निक्की और उसकी बड़ी बहन कंचन, जिसकी शादी भी इसी परिवार में हुई थी, दोनों को अक्सर प्रताड़ित किया जाता था.
A sensational case of murder of a married woman over dowry demand has come to light in Sirsa village of Dadri police station area of Greater Noida. It is alleged that the people of the in-laws’ side beat the married woman badly and then poured inflammable substance on her and set her on fire. The severely burnt woman was taken to the hospital, but she died during treatment. After the incident, the deceased’s sister and relatives have made serious allegations against the in-laws. The victim’s family says that the deceased Nikki was married to Vipin, a resident of Sirsa village, in December 2016.
Sufficient dowry including a Scorpio car was given in the marriage. Despite this, since the marriage, husband Vipin, brother-in-law Rohit, mother-in-law Daya and father-in-law Satveer were continuously demanding an additional dowry of Rs 35 lakh. The victim’s family also gave another car to fulfill their demand, but the series of beating and harassment continued. The relatives allege that several attempts were made to reach a compromise by holding a panchayat, but the accused did not relent.
