Weather Update: Cyclone ‘Arnab’ continues to have a widespread impact on Varanasi, the Purvanchal region, and other parts of the state. Continuous heavy rainfall and strong winds have wreaked havoc across the state, stretching from western to eastern Uttar Pradesh. The cyclonic influence, which became active in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday afternoon, persisted until Saturday evening. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rainfall over the next 48 hours; warnings regarding torrential rain and lightning strikes have been issued for several states. According to the IMD, conditions are entirely favorable for the official withdrawal of the monsoon over the next 2 to 3 days from the remaining parts of Punjab and Haryana, the entirety of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, as well as parts of western Uttar Pradesh and most of Rajasthan. In the coming days, the sky is expected to remain mainly clear or partly cloudy across Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, and western Rajasthan. However, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and showers may occur at isolated locations in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Temperatures in Delhi are expected to remain close to normal, although a slight chill is already being felt during the early morning and late-night hours.
Weather Update: पूर्वांचल सहित वाराणसी और प्रदेश के अन्य हिस्सों में ‘अर्नब’ चक्रवात का व्यापक असर जारी है। पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश से लेकर पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश तक लगातार हो रही भारी बारिश और तेज हवाओं ने तबाही मचा रखी है। बुधवार दोपहर से उत्तर प्रदेश में सक्रिय हुआ चक्रवाती असर शनिवार की शाम तक बना रहा। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग यानी IMD ने अगले 48 घंटे भारी बारिश को लेकर अलर्ट जारी किया है. कई राज्यों में मूसलाधार बारिश और बिजली गिरने का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। IMD के अनुसार, आने वाले 2 से 3 दिनों के दौरान पूरे पंजाब और हरियाणा के शेष हिस्सों, पूरे जम्मू-कश्मीर, लद्दाख, हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड, पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के कुछ भागों और राजस्थान के अधिकांश क्षेत्रों से मॉनसून की आधिकारिक वापसी के लिए परिस्थितियां पूरी तरह से अनुकूल बनी हुई हैं। दिल्ली-NCR, पंजाब, हरियाणा और पश्चिमी राजस्थान में आने वाले दिनों में आसमान मुख्यतः साफ या आंशिक रूप से बादलों से घिरा रहेगा । हालांकि, पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड के कुछ अलग-अलग स्थानों पर हल्की से मध्यम बारिश और गरज के साथ बौछारें पड़ सकती हैं। दिल्ली में तापमान सामान्य के करीब रहने का अनुमान है, जबकि सुबह और देर रात हल्की ठंडक का अहसास शुरू हो चुका है।
