A deeply concerning case has surfaced in Bhubaneswar where OAS officer and OSDMA DGM, Sarthak Saurabh Mahapatra, is accused of abandoning his wife and newborn child at the hospital. His wife, Archana Das, an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, filed a detailed complaint at the Women’s Police Station.
The complaint alleges mental harassment, cruelty by her husband, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, and months of emotional neglect following childbirth. Despite both families mutually agreeing to the marriage, tensions allegedly escalated soon after. Shockingly, Archana claims she hasn’t seen her husband since the birth three months ago.
