A dramatic incident took place during YSRCP chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rally in Pulivendula, YSR Kadapa district. Sheikh Dastagiri, an approver in the sensational Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case, unexpectedly confronted Jagan in the middle of the rally, creating a tense situation and attracting widespread attention. As Jagan’s rally was moving through the streets of Pulivendula, YSRCP leaders and party workers noticed Dastagiri approaching and immediately alerted Jagan. However, Dastagiri directly confronted the rally and raised serious allegations against him. Shouting at Jagan, he reportedly said, “You got your own uncle killed and destroyed our lives,” openly questioning him in front of the public. The sudden confrontation left Jagan and the YSRCP leaders shocked. As Dastagiri attempted to move towards Jagan, alert police personnel immediately intervened and moved him away from the rally. Meanwhile, Jagan continued his march without responding to Dastagiri’s allegations. Dastagiri was initially named as a prime accused in the Vivekananda Reddy murder case but later turned approver and gave a crucial statement to the CBI. In his earlier statements, he made serious allegations involving Jagan Mohan Reddy and Y.S. Avinash Reddy and claimed that Rs. 40 crore was offered as a contract for the murder. These allegations remain part of the wider legal controversy surrounding the case. Now, Dastagiri directly confronting Jagan during his Pulivendula rally has once again brought the Vivekananda Reddy murder case into the political spotlight. The incident has triggered fresh political debate across YSR Kadapa district and Andhra Pradesh, raising questions about the political impact of the case on YSRCP.
